Domain expiry checker
Look up when a domain's registration expires, read from the registry over RDAP with WHOIS as a fallback. Free, no sign-up.
Renewal emails land in spam. Barkme does not.
Barkme checks the registration of every verified domain daily and warns you 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before it lapses, alongside the SSL certificate. Free plan included.
What we check
Every check, and why it matters.
Domain registration
The expiry date your domain registry publishes, read over RDAP with WHOIS as a fallback.
Why it matters. When a registration lapses, the website and email stop at the same moment - and once the grace period ends, anyone can register the name.
Reading the results
Five verdicts.
- Pass
- Healthy. Nothing to do.
- Warning
- Works today, but worth fixing before it causes trouble.
- Fail
- Broken, or about to break. Fix these first.
- Info
- Optional or informational. Not a problem.
- Not checked
- We did not get a clear answer. It says nothing bad about your domain - try again later.
What we do - and don't
A light touch.
- Registration data comes from the public registry, not from your server.
- Results are kept for 24 hours so you can share the link. We do not record who ran the check.
